Shin Mazinger Zero Manga to Launch in Japan in April

Gō Nagai's studio promises "new Mazinger legend" for giant robot franchise
The official website of the Akita Shoten publisher has revealed that Dynamic Pro, the studio of Mazinger Z robot manga creator Gō Nagai, will launch the Shin Mazinger Zero series in the June issue of Champion RED magazine on April 18. The creative duo of writer Yoshiaki Tabata and artist Yūki Yogo (Akumetsu, Wolfguy) are collaborating on the manga. The magazine promises an "entirely new Mazinger legend" in this manga. Not coincidentally, Giant Robo anime director and writer Yasuhiro Imagawa is about to launch his Shin Mazinger Shōgeki! Z-Hen anime series just two weeks earlier on April 4.
