Battle Spirits: Shōnen Toppa Version based on Bandai's card game
The July issue of Kadokawa Shoten's Kerokero Ace children's manga magazine has announced on Tuesday that the Battle Spirits: Shōnen Toppa Version anime series has a second season green-lit. More details will be provided in the magazine's next issue. The anime adapts Bandai's Battle Spirits trading card game, in which cards represent dragons, demons, birds, insects, and other spirits that the players can control in battles. The anime's first season debuted in Japan on September 7, and Hideaki Fujii's manga version has been running in the magazine since last July.
Bandai plans to launch the game in North America this summer.
