Mamoru Oshii Confirmed to Direct 1 Part of Halo Legends

Ghost in the Shell helmer joins Appleseed's Shinji Aramaki in game-based project
Update: Acclaimed anime and live-action film director Mamoru Oshii has confirmed via a video message during the Halo panel at Comic-Con International on Thursday that he will direct one part of the animatd Halo Legends anthology project. Oshii joins Appleseed director Shinji Aramaki, who is overseeing a short about the history of the Spartan warrior class from the games. The five anime studios producing the seven short films are BONES, Casio Entertainment, Production I.G, Studio 4°C, and Toei Animation.
