Durarara's 12-Minute Perfect Guide Special Streamed

The official website for the anime adaptation of Ryohgo Narita's Durarara!! light novels has begun streaming a 12-minute "Perfect Guide" special video on Wednesday. After launching his earlier Baccano! light novel series, Narita set the "warped adolescent fantasy romance" of Durarara!! in a rowdy version of Tokyo's Ikebukuro neighborhood in 2004. He has since written six Durarara!! novel volumes, and they have already inspired a manga series in Square Enix's G Fantasy magazine earlier this year.
The television anime series will premiere in Japan in January. Theatre Brook is performing the opening theme song "Uragiri no Yūyake," and Yūya Matsushita is performing the ending theme song "Trust Me." Besides the "Perfect Guide" video, the website has posted personal computer wallpaper to mark the announcement of the first DVD volume's February 24 release date.
