The management agency Live Gate announced on Friday that singer Mico Yada passed away on Tuesday, November 23 due to an unspecified illness. A service will be held in Tokyo on Monday, November 29 at 10:00 a.m.

Yada performed the theme songs for several games, including Time Leap's "Time Fly" and D.C.P.K. ~Da CaPoker~'s "Hitohira Heart." She is arguably best known for "Takaramono、" the ending theme for the Shukufuku no Campanella ~la campanella della benedizione- game that inspired the Blessing of the Campanella television anime series.

Update: Yada had written in a September 29 blog entry that she had breast cancer. Thanks, Cloud668.
