Toei Animation, Banpresto Have Original Anime in the Works

Heartcatch Precure! film director Rie Matsumoto to helm project
Banpresto's website for its Ichiban Kuji character goods line announced on Thursday that Toei Animation and Banpresto have an original animation project in the works. Rie Matsumoto (Heartcatch Precure! Hana no Miyako de Fashion Show…Desu ka!?) is directing the project based on an story by Izumi Todo (the collective penname for Toei's staff).
A website has already opened for the Kyousogiga (京騒戯画) project. More details will be announced during the Banpresto Hakurankai (BanPaku) event at the Tokyo Big Sight event center on Sunday, March 20.
