The anime departments of the retailers Tower Records and HMV reported on Saturday that the voice actress group Sphere will star in the original anime Natsuiro Kiseki (Summer-Colored Miracle). The anime is slated to air on television next year, and the anime studio Sunrise is producing it. Sphere made the announcement at the "Athletic Harmonies -Dangerous Stage-" event that just ended at Tokyo's Yoyogi National Gymnasium on Saturday evening, and a key visual image from the anime was displayed on stage.

The Blu-ray Discs and DVDs for the series will go on sale on December 7. There will also be an official app for smartphones released. Sphere will take part in the "LisAni! Live" concert at Tokyo's Nippon Budōkan arena on December 4.
Sphere will sing "High Powered," the Shinryaku!? Ika Musume television anime sequel's opening theme song which will go on sale on October 26.
