Media Factory's online advertising for its Monthly Comic Alive magazine announced last week that Akinari Matsuno and Issei Hyōju's MM! manga series will end in the April issue on February 27.

The romantic comedy manga, which debuted in the magazine in September 2008, adapts Matsuno and QP:flapper's original light novel series. Media Factory released the manga's sixth compiled volume on November 22.

MM! follows Tarō Sado, a high school boy who discovered that he is a masochist. As he attempts to hide this side of himself from his high school crush, he tries to correct it through his school's "2nd Volunteer Club."

Media Factory published Matsuno's light novel series with QP:flapper's illustrations under the MF Bunko J imprint between February 2007 and September 2010. Matsuno suddenly passed away last April before completing the story.

MM! inspired a television anime series in October 2010, and Media Factory published the tenth volume of the unfinished light novel series in September 2010.
