Nintendo Zone Debuts in Europe at Hyper Japan

The wireless Nintendo Zone service made its European debut at the Hyper Japan festival at London's Earl Court from February 24 to 26, at which Nintendo was represented. Attendees of Hyper Japan with a handheld 3DS console found a Nintendo Zone icon on the system, which led to an event schedule, five downloadable demos (including Nintendogs and Cats) and an episode of the anime series One Piece.

Nintendo Zone was introduced in Japan and America in December. In those territories, it opens up exclusive content when the 3DS is brought to particular locations which have "zones" - for example, branches of Starbucks and McDonalds.
