Masaki Segawa's take on Go Nagai's "legendary sexy heroine" launches on June 6

This year's 13th issue of Shueisha's Grand Jump magazine announced on Wednesday that Basilisk manga artist Masaki Segawa will launch a remake of Go Nagai's Cutey Honey in the next issue. Honey VS will start with a 39-page chapter on June 6.

Nagai's original manga of the "legendary sexy heroine" inspired several previous manga remakes, anime adaptations on television and home video, a live-action film, and a live-action television series. The magazine Grand Jump just debuted in Japan last fall as a merger of Shueisha's seinen (young men's) manga magazines Business Jump and Super Jump.

Del Rey published Segawa's Basilisk manga in North America.
