Bleach Ranks #1 For June Manga Sales in U.S. Bookstores

The 40th volume of Tite Kubo's Bleach manga series ranked at #6 in Nielsen BookScan's list of top 20 graphic novels in American bookstores for June. Bleach volume #41 ranked at #7, and the 14th volume of the Kanoko Sakurakoji's Black Bird shojo manga ranked at #8.
The 56th volume of Masashi Kishimoto's Naruto manga ranked at #10. The same volume had ranked at #3 in May. The fifth volume of Naoko Takeuchi's Sailor Moon manga, which had ranked at #2 in May, ranked at #17 in June.
The first volume of Shin Yoshida, Kazuki Takahashi, and Naohito Miyoshi's Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal series ranked at #14 and QuinRose and Mamenosuke Fujimaru's Alice in the Country of Clover: Bloody Twins ranked at #19.
The BookScan rankings represent sales at Barnes & Noble and other book chains, independent bookshops, and online purchases — but not sales at comic book stores, Walmart, and some other venues.
