The Whole Hog Theatre company has tweeted that its upcoming stage adaptation of Hayao Miyazaki's anime film Princess Mononoke has sold out in under 72 hours.

The play will be performed at London's New Diorama Theatre at 7:30 p.m. from April 2 to April 6, 2013. Asked if there were any plans to tour the play, Whole Hog replied, "Keep your eyes glued to our website in case any more news comes up."

The project has been in development for over a year, in cooperation with Studio Ghibli. The stage performances will feature giant puppets made from recycled materials as well as original live music.
