Aru Zombie Shōjo no Sainan Also Has Live-Action Plans

posted on by Lynzee Loveridge

Masahiro Onai, the editor of Ryō Ikehata's Aru Zombie Shōjo no Sainan (The Misfortune of a Certain Zombie Girl) light novels, revealed in a Mantan Web interview posted on Friday that tentative plans are in the works for a live-action adaptation. More information about the live-action and anime projects will be revealed in the December 1 release of the first and second Aru Zombie Shōjo no Nyūgaku (The Enrollment of a Certain Zombie Girl) volumes.

The story revolves around a beautiful girl named Euphrosyne (Yūfurojiinu) who is regretfully a zombie. Yūfurojiinu wakes up in an underground archive of a university, where a maid named Aruma tells her, "Madam, kill the students and retrieve the 'Secret Stone.'"

An anime adaptation of the light novel series was previously revealed in June.
