Captain Harlock's Arcadia Ship Soars Over Tokyo in Video

A video of Captain Harlock's Arcadia spaceship soaring over Tokyo's Shibuya ward began streaming on the animeanime.jp website on Thursday. The ship passes over slowly before returning to launch into the sky.
The official website for the Captain Harlock computer-graphics film had launched a countdown. The website noted, "On May 8, something will happen in Shibuya. If you want to change the world, climb aboard this ship."
On that day, Toei announced that actors Shun Oguri and Haruma Miura will star as Captain Harlock and the new character, Yama, respectively. Eyepatch-wearing women canvased Shibuya with posters proclaiming the news.
The film has Toei Animation's highest production budget ever at the equivalent of over 30 million U.S. dollars. It is slated to open in Japan on September 7.
