Hometown Story Game Slated for October 22 in N. America

posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins

Natsume Inc. announced on Thursday that it will release Harvest Moon creator Yasuhiro Wada's latest game, the merchant simulation game Hometown Story, on the Nintendo 3DS on October 22 in North America. Wada had first teased the game last year's E3 under the code name "Project Happiness."

The simulation game will revolve around a merchant in a rural village. However, Wada expained that instead of boosting the merchant's store sales, the game will be more about meeting new people who come through the store.

Toybox Inc., Wada's new company, will release the game in Japan on December 12. Rising Star Games will release the game in Europe.
