The November issue of Bessatsu Shonen Magazine is announcing on Wednesday that the 11 volumes of Hajime Isayama's popular Attack on Titan manga has 25 million copies in circulation in Japan. The magazine is commemorating the milestone with an offer for two QUO cards to its readers. Oricon estimated 20.38 million copies were sold as of as of Sunday, September 8. All 11 volumes of Attack on Titan have regularly appeared in Oricon's weekly list of the 50 top-selling manga in Japan.
For the first time, Nielsen BookScan's list of the top 20 graphic novels in American bookstores had more books of Attack on Titan manga than any other series in the United States.
The anime adaptation ended last month on a cliffhanger. The anime series' staff stated that a second season is not green-lit yet.
