Ascendent Animation Wins 7 Bronze Telly Awards & 2 Silver for Multiple Anime Series
LOS ANGELES, CA - MAY 2026 - Ascendent Animation is proud to announce that they have brought home multiple Silver and Bronze in the record breaking International 47th Annual Telly Awards for this year in New York City.
The Telly Awards honors excellence in video and television across all screens and is judged by leaders from video platforms, television, streaming networks, production companies. This year's winners include Paramount TV, Warner Brothers Discovery, FOX Entertainment, MoMA, Mayo Clinic, Sony Music, TED, Al Jazeera, Variety, PETA, United Talent Agency, People, Inc., Olympic Channel, AccuWeather, ABC News, Dude Perfect, Washington Commanders, Harvard Business School, Modern Post, and more!
This year Ascendent Animation has multiple award-winners spread across a variety of categories, with some shows receiving multiple accolades. There are four shows that have received recognition. They are as follows:
The heartwarming BL (yaoi) animation, “Unexpectedly Naughty Fukami”, received a Bronze Telly award.
The meme-orable, “Junichi Yamakawa Collection”, received a Silver Telly award.
The breakout show, “Kakushite! Makina-san!!” (Makina-San is a Love Bot?!) delivered a powerful performance. It won two Bronze Telly awards, and a Silver Telly award for Best Comedy. (South Park took the Gold Award, Congratulations to Trey Parker and Matt Stone)
And last, but certainly not least, someone call the SHO! “Nukitashi: The Animation” went wild! It brought home a whopping FOUR Bronze Telly awards! Time to book some trips to Seiran island to get ducked!

Multi Award Winning Pterodactyl screaming P.M. Seymour, who played Eita in 'Kakushite! Makina-san!!' said, "Playing Eita was one of the greatest experiences of my life, to be able to fully let loose as an actor onto this role is something I'll never forget."
When the news broke, QA Staff, Shane Tay, responded with, “Fantastic!”
Steve Warky Nunez added, “For each win that is bestowed upon us, the imposter syndrome falls a little more to the wayside, creating a legitimacy that we continue to strive for every day, not only as a studio, but with every single person who has graced us with their kindness, warmth, and talent. These trophies are for all of us.”
With over 13,000 entries from across the globe and top video and television content producers. Winners were chosen by The Telly Awards Judging Council, which features more than 250 experts across the world of video. This year welcomed judges including Tamara Kruger, Head of Content and Sponsorships, Google; Janet Graham Borba, Executive VP of Production, HBO; Phil Cook, Chief Marketing Officer, WNBA; and Andrea Wertheim, Senior Manager Post Production, Netflix.
