Original Promo For Aikatsu!'s Hikari Minowa Streamed

Namco Bandai began streaming an original promotional video for the new Aikatsu! character Hikari Minowa on Sunday. The video features the songs “KIRA☆Power Hikari ver.” and “Idol Katsudō,” both performed by Hikari's singing voice, Yuniko Morishita.
The Hikari Minowa debut CD, “HI-KA-RI shining♪,” will be released in a special package on December 14 at the official Aikatsu! Shop that is being opened in multiple places around Japan for a limited time. The stores will close in mid-January.
The second series of the anime once again feature Starlight Academy, which is facing a predicament thanks to the rise of the new rival idol training school, Dream Academy. The Dream Academy's "cool beauty" Seira Otoshiro (voiced by Kaori Ishihara) is a major new idol with talent in rock music and perfect pitch, while Kii Saekusa (Chuna) is a genius who enrolls in the academy's producer course. The two academies face off for the honor of training the top idol. The anime premiered in October.
Bandai announced the orginal idol-themed card game and its anime adaptation last July. Sunrise is producing the first television anime, which premiered in Japan last October on TV Tokyo. The story revolves around Ichigo, who was just a normal middle school student until she suddenly got involved in the world of idols.
