Manga Entertainment Releasing Original Dragon Ball from May 5

Series will be released in five box-sets released 'every other month' from May.

Manga Entertainment has posted the above announcement on youtube, confirming the upcoming release of the original Dragon Ball anime. The series will be released in five box-sets, starting with Volume 1 on May 5, and subsequent box-sets 'every other month' (i.e. Volume 2 will be July, Volume 3 in September, etc.)

The series ran for 153 episodes in Japan between 1986 and 1989.
