Princess Mononoke, Pom Poko and Cat Returns Blu-rays Listed (Updated)

Pom Poko listed for April 14, Princess Mononoke and The Cat Returns listed for May 21.

Amazon UK is listing Blu-ray editions of the Ghibli films Princess Mononoke (directed by Hayao Miyazaki), Pom Poko (directed by Isao Takahata) and The Cat Returns (directed by Hiroyuki Morita). Pom Poko is listed for April 14, while Princess Mononoke and The Cat Returns are both listed for May 21. According to Amazon, they will be released by Studio Canal, Ghibli's usual distributor in Britain. The pictures for Princess Mononoke and The Cat Returns on the right are of the Japanese Blu-rays (no pictures are shown on Amazon UK as of writing)

In January, Studio Ghibli's official international Twitter account revealed that it is working its distributors to release Princess Mononoke and The Cat Returns on Blu-ray Disc overseas. The films were released on Blu-ray with English subtitles and English dubs in Japan in December 2012.
