Gundam: Side Stories' Thoroughbred & Lost War Chronicles PS3 Remake Promo Streamed

2 of 5 HD remakes in May 29 game collection with new Missing Link game

Bandai Namco Games began streaming promotional videos for the Thoroughbred (Sora, Senku no Hate ni... ) and Lost War Chronicles remakes in the Mobile Suit Gundam: Side Stories game collection on Tuesday.

Sora, Senku no Hate ni... follows the crew of the Pegasus-class ship Thoroughbred and the unit assigned to guarding the Federation fleet watching the lunar base in the year U.C.0079. In the Thoroughbred unit are Gundam pilots Luce Kessel and Ford Romfellow.

Lost War Chronicles also takes place during the One Year War. It allows players to participate as a grunt on either side — the Delta Team on the Federation side or the Red Team on the Zeon side.

The collection will include the new game Mobile Suit Gundam Side Story: Missing Link (Mobile Suit Gundam Gaiden: Missing Link), as well as the HD remakes of five previous Side Story titles: Mobile Suit Gundam Side Story: The Blue Destiny; Mobile Suit Gundam Side Story 0079: Rise From the Ashes; the Gundam Thoroughbred (Kidō Senshi Gundam Gaiden: Sora, Senkō no Hate ni...) segment in Mobile Suit Gundam: Encounters in Space; Mobile Suit Gundam: Zeonic Front; and Mobile Suit Gundam: Lost War Chronicles. It will also feature at least one new mobile suit.

Players can deploy a team of three mobile suits in both ground and space battles. The game will have zero gravity and three-dimension maneuvering to distinguish the space battles from the ground ones. Players can also freely switch between the three mobile suits in the middle of battle, particularly when one mobile suit's hit points has been depleted. Support craft can offer both offensive and defensive assistance to the player.

BB Studio (Mobile Suit Battle Operation) is developing the anime robot action game. The regular edition will cost 7,600 yen (about US$76) on May 29, and the limited edition will cost 13,790 yen (US$138).
