Sega Streams Sonic Boom Wii U, 3DS Game Trailers

Alien: Isolation gameplay video also streamed

Sega America began streaming two E3 trailers on Tuesday for its upcoming Sonic games for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, Sonic Boom, and Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal. The Shattered Crystal trailer introduces the new character Sticks.

Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal for Nintendo 3DS:

Sonic Boom for Wii U will be a prequel to the Nintendo 3DS game and the upcoming CG Sonic Boom TV show, produced by France's OuiDo! Productions for Cartoon Network to run during the 2014/2015 season. The game feature collaborative gameplay. Two California-based companies, Big Red Button Entertainment and Sanzaru Games, are developing the game for the Wii U and 3DS, respectively.

TOMY will create plush, action figures, RC, role play, vehicles, and novelty merchandise for the new game. Sega plans to license the characters to create toys, apparel, publishing, accessories, food and beverage, health and more.

Both games are slated for release this November in North America.

Sega also began streaming its E3 gameplay trailer for Alien: Isolation, based on the Alien film franchise. The game will be available on October 7 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC over Steam.
