CignalTV announced through an on-screen information crawler on Monday that TeleAsia Filipino and its sister channel TeleAsia Chinese will cease broadcasting on September 17.

TeleAsia Filipino aired live-action series from Taiwan, South Korea, and Japan, as well as re-broadcasts of local television series. The channel also aired multiple anime, syndicated from other local Philippine television channels, including K-ON!, Tenjho Tenge, Hunter X Hunter, Cowboy Bebop, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Magi: The Kingdom of Magic. The channel is currently airing the Bakuman., Fairy Tail, and Shaman King TV anime series, as well as the live-action Gokusen series.

TeleAsia Chinese aired content in the Chinese language.

Both channels launched in December 2012, and were available exclusively on the CignalTV direct-to-home satellite television service.
