God Eater Resurrection's 3rd Promo Video Shows New Predator Style

posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
PS Vita action game slated for October 29

The official website for Bandai Namco Entertainment's God Eater Resurrection PS Vita action game began streaming the game's third promotional video on Thursday. The video highlights the new Predator Style system, the evolved Aragami, and the game's first edition bonuses.

The website previously streamed the game's second promotional video last week.

The first copies of the game will include the alternate character version of Lindow, specially equipped with a Charge Spear. The first copies will also have Lenka Utsugi's God Arc and costume (complete with the character's anime's voice), as well as the alternate character version of Alisa in Russian Blue.

The Cross Playback & Anime Vol. 1 edition will include the physical PlayStation 4 game disc itself with an exclusive jacket illustration, a serial code to download the PS Vita version, the television anime's first Blu-ray Disc volume with its own exclusive jacket illustration, and a box (with an exclusive illustration) to hold everything. In addition, the edition will include about 28 minutes of unfotable's anime footage for the God Eater slot machine game for pachinko parlors. The bundle will cost 9,980 yen (about US$81).

The game will debut for PS4 and PS Vita on October 29.

God Eater Resurrection is a PS4 and PS Vita title that adds elements to the earlier 2010 PSP game God Eater Burst. In particular, it adds a "Predator Style" of fighting that lets players create sets of up to five attack moves, even in mid-air or during dashes. The game updates graphics and event scenes for the newer hardware, and it also adds an epilogue that bridges the story with God Eater 2.

The God Eater television anime premiered on July 8, and Aniplex of America is streaming it on Daisuki and then on Crunchyroll. The game franchise also inspired the God Eater Prologue original video anime.
