RADWIMPS' Soundtrack for Makoto Shinkai's 'your name.' Tops Chart for 2nd Week

IDOLM@STER singles, KING OF PRISM by PrettyRhythm & Idolish 7 albums also rank

RADWIMPS' soundtrack for Makoto Shinkai's new your name. (Kimi no Na wa.) anime film sold about 39,000 copies to rank #1 on Oricon's album chart for the second consecutive week. The album had already sold an estimated 57,878 copies for the previous August 22-28 week.

RADWIMPS composed over 22 tracks for the film's soundtrack, as well as the film's theme songs "Zen Zen Zense (movie ver.)," "Sparkle," "Yume Tōrō (movie ver.)," and "Nandemo Ii ya (movie edit/movie ver.)" This is the first time that any of RADWIMPS' albums and singles has ranked #1 for two weeks in a row on Oricon charts, and RADWIMPS' first #1 album.

In addition, "THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS STARLIGHT MASTER 05 Junjō Midnight Densetsu" single sold an estimated 25,000 copies to rank #3 on the weekly single chart. Yuko Hara, Mayumi Kaneko, Haruka Chisuga, Tomo Muranaka, and Kiyono Yasuno perform the single's songs which also appear in The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls: Starlight Stage smartphone game. The single shipped on August 31.

"The Idolm@ster SideM 2nd ANNIVERSARY DISC 02 (Eureka Diary)," the second single release in The Idolm@ster SideM 2nd ANNIVERSARY DISC series for the SideM male idols of the franchise, sold an estimated 24,000 copies for the week and ranked #4 in the weekly single chart. It shipped on August 31. The disc ranked higher than "The Idolm@ster SideM 2nd ANNIVERSARY DISC 01 DRAMATIC STARS & High×Joker," the series' first single which ranked #7 in July.

KING OF PRISM Music Ready Sparking!, the character song album for the KING OF PRISM by PrettyRhythm anime film, sold 12,000 copies and ranked #2 in the weekly album chart.

Appli Game IDOLiSH7 1st Full Album "i7", with music from the Idolish 7 smartphone game, sold an estimated 6,000 copies for the week and ranked #5 on the weekly album chart. The album shipped on August 24. The album sold an estimated 46,602 copies and ranked #2 last week.
