Your Name UK Cinema Release Update

Release evolved from one-day into 'platformed' cinema release

Anime Limited has announced the following regarding its upcoming release of Makoto Shinkai's your name.

The release has 'evolved' from a one-day release to a platformed release. All ticket and venue details at yournamethemovie.co.uk

November 18 to 23: Sixteen Showcase cinemas will be screening the film Twice a Day, once dubbed and once subtitled.

November 24: Over 120 venues will screen your name., most in Japanese with subs. 'The Cineworlds in Glasgow, Dublin, Birmingham have all added second screens on the 24th of November while the Odeon on Panton Street in London is now onto its third screen.'

November 25 to 30: Select venues are scheduled to hold the film, so far including the Vue cinemas in Shepherd's Bush and Stratford, Odeon cinemas in London (Panton Street), Kingston, Birmingham, Manchester, Southampton, plus individual screenings in Brighton (Duke of York), Glasgow (Glasgow Film Theatre), Aberystwyth (Aberystwyth Arts Centre) and Leeds (HYDE Park Picturehouse).

December 4: Dubbed screenings in 13 cinemas across UK and Ireland.

December 9 to January 27: 'We have a range of screenings with independent cinemas booked in for this period in another 4-5 venues so far.'

More venues/screenings may be added over the next few weeks. A few Vue screens previously labeled subtitled are now dubbed.
