Limited Collectors Edition Gurren Lagann Blu-ray contains series and films

Anime Limited has posted the following updates on its blog page.

-In addition to the already-announced Gurren Lagann Movie Collection Blu-ray set, Anime Limited is also bringing out a new Limited Collector's Edition Blu-ray set of the series. This will contain the TV series, the films and the Parallel Works. (The series is dub and sub, the films are sub only.)

The set is described as "more than a standard edition release, but not to the scale of the Ultimate Edition." (Anime Limited previously released an Ultimate Edition set of Gurren Lagann in 2014, which is now out of print.) The Collector's Edition will be limited to a thousand copies, and will be initially exclusive to the Zavvi site in February. "It will be available through other retailers once this timed window has passed."

It has not been re-authored from the Ultimate Edition. As with the Ultimate Edition, issues with approximately 30 seconds of material (total) has led to DVD material being switched in for these specific points. More details here.

- In addition, in an update to an older post, Anime Limited has confirmed that its upcoming home release of Makoto Shinkai's Your Name will include the recently-announced dubbed version of the film in which the musicians RADWIMPS perform the songs in English. This will be in addition to the original Japanese version of the film, and to the alternate dubbed version with English voices and Japanese-language songs.
