Eureka 7 Films U.K. and Ireland Release

Anime Limited confirmed that it will be releasing the new Eureka Seven film trilogy in the UK and Ireland.
Regarding the first film, Anime Limited says, 'There will a screening in the UK as close to the Japanese release as possible and then there will be screenings held across UK and Ireland during the first quarter in 2018.'
Anime Limited also confirmed it is still due to release the original Eureka 7 TV series on Blu-ray, describing the release as 'very much in the works...we're still signing off on what we have planned.
The new film trilogy is titled Kōkyōshihen Eureka Seven Hi-Evolution (Psalms of Planets Eureka Seven Hi-Evolution). The first film is due later this year; the second film will open in 2018, and the third film in 2019.
The films will follow The First Summer of Love phenomenon that occurred a decade before the first Eureka Seven series.The films will then have the same basic story as the first Eureka Seven series, but will have an original ending. The trilogy will have completely re-recorded lines, redone footage, and new scenes.
Much of the original staff on the series is returning for the project, including chief director Tomoki Kyoda, scriptwriter Dai Sato, character designer Kenichi Yoshida, mechanical designer Shoji Kawamori, conceptual designer Kazutaka Miyatake, and designers Shingo Takeba, Yutaka Izubuchi, and Shigeto Koyama.
