Mamoru Miyano Is 1st Male Voice Actor to Top Weekly Blu-ray Chart

Mamoru Miyano's "Mamoru Miyano Live Tour 2016 ~Mixing!~" Blu-ray Disc sold 12,717 copies and ranked #1 on Oricon's overall Blu-ray Disc chart for the June 12-18 week. The release makes Miyano the first male voice actor to top the overall weekly Blu-ray Disc or DVD chart.
The previous highest-placing video release by a male voice actor was Hiroshi Kamiya's "Hiroshi Kamiya 1st Live 'Hareyon→5&6' LIVE DVD" DVD release in June 2016, which ranked #2. Miyano's earlier "MAMORU MIYANO LIVE TOUR 2014 ~WAKENING!~" Blu-ray Disc release in January 2015 also ranked #2.
The Blu-ray Disc release features footage from Miyano's October-December live concert tour last year. The release highlight's the singer's last concert on the tour in the Yokohama Arena on December 18. The special video features include documentary footage of the tour, and a digest video of an event in Taiwan during Christmas Eve.
Miyano's 12th single "Shine" ranked at #1 on the Oricon daily singles chart in April 2016. The release made Miyano the first solo male voice actor with a #1 ranking single on the daily chart.
