Korean video game publisher Blueside and Korean developer Iggymob unveiled a trailer for their Gungrave VR "cinematic action shooting game" during Sony's Tokyo Game Show press conference on Tuesday. The trailer begins at 42:36 in the video below.
The PlayStation VR game is slated for this year.
The developers will preserve the world of the original Gungrave games and go beyond the story of the second title, Gungrave: Overdose, to create an optimized version of the original game for PlayStation VR. The game will feature infinite shooting, third-person "full-break action," and first-person "dynamic shooting." A PC version for use with Oculus, Vive, and other VR headsets is also planned after the PlayStation 4 release for use with PlayStation VR.
Death doesn't matter to Brandon Heat. Driven by vengeance, he's back from the grave and bent on crippling Millennion, a massive mafia organization with legions of undead monster enforcers. Armed with his twin handguns—Ceruberus—and a coffin full of heavy weapons, Heat won't stop until Millennion's leader—and Brandon's former best friend—Harry McDowel is destroyed.
