March comes in like a lion Manga Tops Da Vinci Magazine's Rankings for 3rd Straight Year

The January 2018 issue of Kadokawa Media Factory's book and manga news magazine Da Vinci unveiled its 18th annual "Book of the Year" list on Wednesday. The rankings are not based solely on sales. Instead, a group of 4,576 voters including book reviewers, writers, and bookstore employees selected this year's lists.

The magazine's comic rankings of the top five titles are:

1. March comes in like a lion (Volumes 1-13) - Chika Umino
2. Silver Spoon (Volumes 1-14) - Hiromu Arakawa
3. One Piece (Volumes 1-87) - Eiichiro Oda
4. Attack on Titan (Volumes 1-23) - Hajime Isayama
5. Detective Conan (Volumes 1-93) - Gōshō Aoyama

This is the third consecutive year that March comes in like a lion has topped the ranking. Attack on Titan and One Piece were also in the last two year's top five, and Detective Conan and Silver Spoon were in the top five of 2015.
