The organizers of the Florida Supercon convention announced in March that Satoshi "Bin" Furuya and Tsutomu Kitagawa will be guests at this year's event.
Furuya made his television debut as a monster suit actor with Ultra Q in 1966 before debuting in his most famous role, the title character in the first Ultraman tokusatsu television series, later the same year. He went on to play Ultra Guard member Amagi in the follow-up series Ultraseven before retiring from acting. He published his autobiography, The Man Who Became Ultraman, in 2009.
Kitagawa is best known as the suit actor for Godzilla in the "Millennium series" films, from Godzilla 2000: Millennium to 2004's Godzilla Final Wars. He has also acted in various installments of the Super Sentai series; he began as a regular in 1984's Chōdenshi Bioman as Blue Three, and continued until 1994's Ninja Sentai Kakuranger, where he was the suit actor for Ninja Black. (Kakuranger action scenes were used as in the third season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.) He has had guest appearances in many of the franchise's recent installments.
The convention will take place in Fort Lauderdale, Florida from July 12-15.
