Listings for Studio Trigger/Mari Okada series and film sequel to K TV series

Anime UK News reports that the website of the BBFC (British Board of Film Classification) is listing the following anime titles as receiving UK certificates.

Kiznaiver (right) has been rated '15' for 'strong sex references and bloody images'. The setting of Studio Trigger's TV anime series is a fictional Japanese city named Sugomori City, which is built on reclaimed land. But as the years go by, the city's population is decreasing. One day, Sonosaki tells her classmate Katsuhira: "You have been selected to be a Kiznaiver." The Kizuna System, which allows Katsuhira to share his wounds, connects him to the classmates whose lives and personalities completely differ from his. The Kizuna System is an incomplete system for the implementation of world peace that connects people through wounds. All those who are connected to this system are called Kiznaivers. When one Kiznaiver is wounded, the system divides and transmits the wound among the other Kiznaivers.

Studio Trigger and Mari Okada are credited with the show's original work. Hiroshi Kobayashi (Rage of Bahamut Genesis assistant director, Kill la Kill episode director) made his directorial debut with the anime at Studio Trigger, and Mari Okada (Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, anohana, The Anthem of the Heart) wrote and oversaw the scripts. Shirow Miwa (Dogs: Bullets & Carnage, supercell illustrator) drew the original character designs, while Mai Yoneyama (Japan Animator Expo "Hill Climb Girl," Kill la Kill animation director) adapted those character designs for animation. Yūki Hayashi (Haikyu!!, Robotics;Notes, Death Parade) is composed the show's music.

K: Missing Kings (left) has been rated '12' for 'moderate sexualised images, violence and discriminatory language'. The feature film is a sequel to the 2012 K TV series.

Other upcoming anime which have received certificates from the BBFC include Lupin the Third Part IV (rated '15' for 'strong violence, threat, sex references and references to child abuse) and Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin I - IV (rated '15' for 'strong violence').
