My Hero Academia Manga Nabs 7 of Top 20 Spots on U.S. Monthly Bookscan June List

Kōhei Horikoshi's My Hero Academia volume 13 topped NPD BookScan's Top 20 adult graphic novels list for June. The manga also took seven of the 20 slots on the list.
This month's list featured 13 manga volumes including:
- #4 — Kōhei Horikoshi's My Hero Academia volume 1
- #5 — Kōhei Horikoshi's My Hero Academia volume 12
- #8 — Sui Ishida's Tokyo Ghoul:re volume 5
- #9 — Kōhei Horikoshi's My Hero Academia volume 2
- #11 — Kabi Nagata's My Solo Exchange Diary
- #12 — Kōhei Horikoshi's My Hero Academia volume 11
- #13 — Sankichi Hinodeya's Splatoon volume 3
- #15 — Kōhei Horikoshi's My Hero Academia volume 3
- #16 — RWBY: Official Manga Anthology
- #18 — Kōhei Horikoshi's My Hero Academia volume 4
- #19 — Sui Ishida's Tokyo Ghoul volume 1
- #20 — Akira Himekawa's The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess volume 3
The BookScan rankings represent sales at Barnes & Noble and other book chains, independent bookshops, and online purchases — but not sales at comic book stores, Walmart.com, and some other venues.
NPD BookScan announced last September it plans to add in sales numbers from comic book stores in partnership with Diamond Comics and indie retailers in the coming year, but hasn't yet revealed a specific date the change will take place.
