1st manga series by Code Geass director Taniguchi launched in October 2015

Manga artist Akihiko Higuchi revealed on Twitter on Friday that Higuchi's ĀTRAIL: Nisekawi-teki Nichijō to Senmetsu Element (ĀTRAIL: Ordinary in the Fake World) manga will end in its next chapter. The official website for the manga on Comic Newtype's website is listing that it will release the next chapter on October 26.

The manga is the first manga project for Code Geass original story writer and director Goro Taniguchi. Taniguchi and Higuchi launched the manga on ComicWalker and Niconico in addition to Comic Newtype in October 2015. Higuchi (Loups-Garous manga) is drawing the series, and Taniguchi is writing the scripts.

Kadokawa published the manga's fourth compiled volume in October 2017.

The manga centers on Iori Shijima, an ordinary high school student blessed with a good, common life. He has a cute childhood friend, lots of friends he can rely on, and a nice and beautiful mother. Additionally, his grades are good and he has a solid future plan. However, one day "transcendent beings" called ĀTRAIL appear on Earth, and Iori's everyday life crumbles as he learns about the secrets of another world and the meaning to his own existence.
