universe Vocalist Haru to Attend L.A.'s Pacific Media Expo, Virginia's NekoCon

posted on by Karen Ressler
Events to be held in late October, early November

Imports and events company Chaotic Harmony announced last month that J-rock artist haru will attend California-based Asian entertainment convention Pacific Media Expo (PMX) and Virginia-based anime convention NekoCon this year. The company posted a video with a message from haru.

haru is the vocalist for the band universe, which performed the ending theme song "echoes" for the Bleach anime. The band made its United States debut at Anime Weekend Atlanta in 2015, and haru returned by himself the following year. As a solo singer, he performed a song for the "Montster Summer!! Zettai Hansha Shugihen" commercial for the Monster Strike game.

PMX will take place this October 27-28 at the Glendale Hilton in Glendale, CA. Synthpop duo Cali Crisis, composed of indie artist Plasmic and American anime singer Stephanie Yanez, will also attend the event.

NekoCon will take place at the Hampton Roads Convention Center in Hampton, VA from November 2-4. Voice actors Tara Sands, Eric Stuart, Lauren Landa, Tyson Rinehart, and Amanda C. Miller will also attend.
