ME!ME!ME! Director Hibiki Yoshizaki To Guest At London Comic Con

Anime Limited has announced that Hibiki Yoshizaki of Studio Khara, who directed the short film ME!ME!ME!, will be Guest of Honour at London Comic Con. Yoshizaki also worked on Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo and The Dragon Dentist.

There will also be an exhibition space showing art from ME!ME!ME!.

According to Anime Limited, "Yoshizaki contributed various production designs and director of onscreen monitor graphics for Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo. With ME!ME!ME! included in the short film series Japan Anima(tor) Expo, Yoshizaki marked his debut as a director of an original film and gained acclaim both inside and outside Japan. .

"Yoshizaki participated in The Dragon Dentist, a feature length film by Studio khara by providing direction and contributing storyboards. Yoshizaki has also directed the music video Utada Hikaru / Sakura Nagashi (Eva 3.0 version) and the TV advertisement Kirai, demo, Suki (“Hate it, but love it.”) for HAL College of Technology & Design for its 2016 academic year."

Yoshizaki will appear in a Guest of Honour Panel on the Centre Stage on Saturday October 27. He will also appear in two free signing sessions, on Saturday and Sunday (times TBC). According to Anime Limited, 'You can bring one item to get with you or we'll have a special signing card that he can sign for you on hand – and that's free too.'

There will also be a ME!ME!ME! exhibition space, with artwork relating to the film, and the film itself being screened. Additionally, there will be a selection of official ME!ME!ME! merchandise on sale, plus the official art book (pricing TBA). It will be open through the three days of the event but is restricted to over-18s, with I.D. checks.
