ONE OK ROCK drummer Tomoya (31) issued an apology on the band's official website on Friday to address a report from weekly gossip magazine Friday. The report alleged that Tomoya had an indecent relationship with a girl seven years ago when she was 16 years old.

Tomoya began by issuing an apology to the girl in question. He said he was an inexperienced person seven years ago, when the event took place, and that he did not understand social situations. He went on to promise that he will work hard to not betray the expectations of the band's fans.

The four-man alternative band formed in 2005 and released its first single in 2007. The group performed the ending song for the Harlock: Space Pirate anime film, as well as the theme songs for all three live-action Rurouni Kenshin films.
