Shogakukan Asia to Release Zero's Tea Time Manga in English in January

Manga spinoff about "threefaced" operative Tōru Amuro launched in May

Shogakukan Asia announced on Monday that it will begin releasing Takahiro Arai's Detective Conan: Zero's Tea Time (Meitantei Conan: Zero no Tea Time) manga in English in Southeast Asia beginning in January.

The spinoff manga centers on the daily life of the "threefaced" operative, known as Rei Furuya to the National Police Agency, Tōru Amuro as a private detective and Café Poirot waiter, and Bourbon as a member of the Black Organization.

Arai (Tenshō no Quadrable, Cirque du Freak) launched the manga in Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine on May 9. Shogakukan published the manga's second compiled book volume on October 18. The manga currently runs new chapters only when Gōshō Aoyama's main Detective Conan manga is on hiatus, and does not publish chapters of the manga otherwise. The main manga recently went on hiatus in September, and returned after nine weeks on November 28.

Shogakukan Asia also publishes an English edition of the main Detective Conan manga in Southeast Asia.
