Silver Spoon Released Monday

Also second volume of Ancient Magus' Bride, standard releases of Martian Successor Nadesico and Armed Girl's Machiavellism

On Monday June 3, Anime Limited will release the first volume of Silver Spoon as a Collectors Blu-ray, carrying the first 11 episodes of the series. The Collectors Blu-ray also include art cards and a poster.

Silver Spoon is based on the farming manga by Hiromu Arakawa (Fullmetal Alchemist). Tomohiko Ito (Occult Academy, Sword Art Online) directed the series with assistant director Otomi Deai at A-1 Pictures. Taku Kishimoto (Bunny Drop) wrote the scripts, while Jun Nakai (Mardock Scramble films, The Sacred Blacksmith) served as character designer and chief animation director. Shusei Murai (Allison & Lillia, Aiura) scored the music. The original manga by Arakawa follows a boy's life in an agricultural school.

Manga Entertainment will release the second volume of The Ancient Magus' Bride on Blu-ray and DVD, carrying episodes 13 to 24.

Anime Limited will release a standard Blu-ray edition of the 1996 space adventure series Martian Successor Nadesico. This will include the 26 TV episodes of the series; there will also be a bonus DVD including the Gekiganger 3 OAV and other extras.

Anime Limited will also a standard Blu-ray edition of the Nadesico sequel feature film, Martian Successor Nadesico: The Motion Picture - Prince of Darkness,

MVM will release a standard Blu-ray edition of the high-school fighting series Armed Girl's Machiavellism.
