Ghibli Lecture and Short Film Screenings in London Next Sunday

Lecture and short-film screenings in Hackney, presented by Ghibliotheque podcast host Michael Leader
There will be a Studio Ghibli lecture and short film screenings, presented by Michael Leader, the co-host of the Ghibliotheque podcast, in Hackney, London on Sunday March 15. Doors open at 3 pm.
The venue is the MOTH club at Old Trades Hall on Valette Street, near Hackney Central station (map). Tickets are £20 and can be booked at the above link.
The event is described as follows:
"Join journalist and Ghibli friend Michael Leader as he takes you on a journey through the cinema of Japan's Studio Ghibli. The studio's founders, the late Isao Takahata and Hayao Miyazaki (who is coming out of retirement again soon), have created timeless masterpieces. Although their films are distinctly Japanese, their themes are universal: humanity, community and a love for the environment. No other film studio, animation or otherwise, comes close to matching Ghibli for pure cinematic experience.Alongside the lecture Deeper Into Movies will be digging out and screening rarely seen Ghibli shorts.
