Shiro Sagisu Announces Two New Albums and Launches Official YouTube Channel

Shiro SAGISU, a composer, arranger, music producer, and conductor known for his work on titles such as Evangelion, Bleach, Shin Godzilla, and Shin Ultraman, released two albums simultaneously on March 25, 2026, as part of his new THE WHITE ALBUM series: THE WHITE ALBUM 1 EVANGELION 30TH ANNIVERSARY and THE WHITE ALBUM 2 EVANGELION 30TH ANNIVERSARY.

Led by SAGISU himself, the THE WHITE ALBUM series reimagines beloved tracks with orchestral arrangements and other new elements, vividly rekindling the memories of the stories they accompany while breathing new life into the music. The series also includes rare, previously unreleased recordings, letting listeners fully experience the expansive worlds of these works.

SAGISU has also announced the launch of his official YouTube channel, which will spotlight not only his music but also his personality, with content currently in development to showcase his full appeal.

PROFILE

Born in Tokyo in 1957, Shiro SAGISU is a composer, arranger, and music producer with an extraordinary 48- year career at the forefront of the music scene, which began with his work on T-SQUARE's debut album.

Over a partnership spanning more than 30 years with Hideaki Anno, he has contributed to every entry in the Evangelion series, earning a devoted global fanbase.

He is also President and CEO of the tokusatsu and animation production company P-Productions, succeeding his father, Sōji Ushio (1921–2004). In recent years, he arranged “Kimigayo,” Japan's national anthem, for the opening ceremony of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
