Momijitanuki launched the manga in Square Enix's Manga UP! in May 2024. The company shipped the second compiled book volume on May 7.
Ezogingitune launched the Cast-off Magic Tool Researcher is Actually an S-rank Mage light novel series on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō (Let's Be Novelists) website in January 2021. Manga UP! Global recently added Sōta Takahata's manga adaptation of the series on July 20.
