SPJA Searches for Replacement C.E.O.
Anaheim, California (September 26, 2005) - In anticipation of the vastness of Anime Expo®'s 15th year anniversary, Ms. Jennifer Pon has stepped down as the current Chief Executrve Officer for the Society for the Promotion of Japanese Anime (SPJA) - the overseeing organization for Anime Expo® 2006 (AX2006). Ms. Pon will continue to be a part of Anime Expo® by overseeing the Research and Development department-which will look for/create new projects such as charitable functions and special events.
Chad Kime, SPJA Board Member, will act as the interim C.E.O. until a permanent replacement is found. All current C.E.O. responsibilities, projects and negotiations will be transferred immediately to Mr. Kime until/unless specified otherwise. Ms. Trulee Karahashi will continue as SPJA C.F.O. Located in Anaheim, California - Anime Expo®, the world's largest anime/manga convention, serves to foster trade, commerce and the interests of the general public and animation/ comics industry. This organization is more popularly known by its entertainment property - Anime Expo®.
