Central Park Media to Launch Anime Online

CENTRAL PARK MEDIA TO LAUNCH ANIME ONLINE

New York, NY (September 13, 2006) – In response to the growing demand for anime programming, Google, the world's largest Internet search engine, and Central Park Media, a pioneer in the distribution of anime in the United States, will make anime available to North American consumers on Google Video, a comprehensive index of free and paid, user-generated and professional video content, (http://video.Google.com/centralparkmedia).

Initial titles that will lead off Google Video's anime offering include the critically acclaimed Black Jack series and video game based Battle Arena Toshinden. Black Jack, which follows the adventures of a mysterious doctor, has been hailed as “fantastic!” by J-fan.com, while Anime News Network stated that “many anime titles claim to be dramatic, many claim to be mysterious, but few do it as well as Black Jack.” Central Park Media maintains one of the most extensive anime libraries for distribution in North America, making it the ideal provider of programming to New Media companies.

“Working with Google is a real pleasure,” stated Newton Grant, Central Park Media's Director of Business Development. “Google is one of the leading companies on the Internet and a household name. We are excited at the prospect of working with Google to bring our anime to a much larger audience than previously possible.”
