Central Park Media

Foundation date: 1990-04
Minna Agechau was to be CPM's first release, but it was pulled due to the adverse media attention.
Central Park Media was founded in 1990 by John O'Donnell as an anime supplier.
Central Park Media filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy on April 27, 2009 and is facing liquidation with a debt of over US$1.2 million.
CPM's anime video labels included Central Park Media (artistic and literary releases), U.S. Manga Corps (general releases), Anime 18 (adults only), and Software Sculptors (alternative titles). Its Asia Pulp Cinema label was for live-action Japanese films.
1991-07: CPM's U.S. Manga Corps anime label established.
1991-11-07: CPM's first actual release was Dominion Tank Police Volume 1 on subtitled VHS.
