BE BEAUTIFUL AND KAZUMA KODAKA AT YAOI-CON
Meet the Women (and Men) of Be Beautiful at 2005's Yaoi-Con.
October 26, 2005 (New York, NY) - Be Beautiful proudly announces its participation in Yaoi-Con 2005. Yaoi-Con, the definitive yaoi convention in North America, takes place from October 28 to 30 in San Francisco, CA, and is a unique gathering of yaoi fans, North American distributors, and original Japanese authors. Be Beautiful welcomes Yaoi-Con Guest of Honor Kazuma Kodaka, author of Be Beautiful's own Kizuna - Bonds of Love, and promises to fill the event with plenty of surprises.
Ms. Kodaka, one of the pioneering authors in the yaoi field, is responsible for Kizuna - Bonds of Love, the best-selling yaoi title of all time. She will graciously be giving a manga-drawing demonstration from 10 to 11:30 AM on October 29, followed by a question and answer session from 3 to 4 PM, and conclude the day with a special autograph signing from 4 to 5 PM.
Be Beautiful will be screening its Kizuna animation at 8 PM on October 28 and is holding its own question and answer session and panel discussion from 2 to 3 PM on October 29. In addition to speaking about the past, present, and future of yaoi in Japan and North America, Be Beautiful will be making the first announcement of its newest book at its panel.
Further, do not miss the Be Beautiful booth in Yaoi-Con's dealer's room, where in addition to finding manga titles such as Finder Series and Embracing Love and DVDs including Descendants of Darkness at convention-only prices, con-goers will get to meet the women (and men) behind Be Beautiful. Stop by the booth often as Be Beautiful will be running special raffles throughout Yaoi-Con, even giving away original doujinshi drawn and signed by Ms. Kodaka.
