GDH Announces GONZO Rosso's Launch of Online Game Service in Vietnam

GDH K.K. (Head Office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Shinichiro Ishikawa, Securities Code: TSE Mothers 3755, hereafter GDH) has announced today that GONZO Rosso K.K. (Head Office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, Managing Director: Hideki Moriya, hereafter GONZO Rosso), an online game operation company within the GDH group, will start service of RAN Online to the Vietnamese market via its subsidiary GoldSky Access Sdn. Bhd. (Head Office: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, CEO: Huang Chi Cheng(James Huang), hereafter GoldSky).

RAN Online is a highly popular Korea-made MMORPG(*) developed by Min Communications, Inc. (Head Office: Daegu, Korea, CEO: Byung Min Kim) and is licensed to GoldSky for operation in Southeast Asian markets. GoldSky possesses vast expertise in the online game licensing business including localization/culturalization of in-game events and billing processes and has published RAN Online in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines and Indonesia. For Vietnam, open beta service is scheduled to start from mid-January, followed by commercial launch later in the month.

The GDH group has entered the online game business via GONZO Rosso and has been actively fortifying its international competitiveness for the fast growing Asian market in this field by utilizing GoldSky's extensive knowledge and also the strengths acquired from its experience in the Japanese market. The group will continue to expand its online game business within the Asian region through GONZO Rosso's strategic network.
