The Los Angeles Comic Book and Science Fiction Convention Takes Place This Sunday, April 26, 2009
FUNimation Presents The Best of Science Fiction and Fantasy Anime, a six hour Film Festival featuring West Coast Premieres of ROMEO X JULIET, D.GRAY-MAN, and HEROIC AGE. Films run from 11:00 A.M.-5:00 P.M. The entire schedule is posted at the Convention website.
Special Guests appearing on the Dealer Room Floor will be FRANK COGHLAN JR., an actor who starred as Billy Batson, Radio Reporter, who upon exclaiming the word Shazam becomes Superhero CAPTAIN MARVEL in the 12 part Republic Pictures 1941 Serial THE ADVENTURES OF CAPTAIN MARVEL. The CAPTAIN MARVEL Serial is considered to be one of the best. FRANK will be signing autographs at the Flicker Alley Table. CRYSTAL ALLEN stars in recent Film releases ANACONDAS 3: OFFSPRING with David Hasselhoff, and ANACONDAS: TRAIL OF BLOOD with John Rhys-Davies. CRYSTAL was also featured as an Orion Green skinned Slave Girl in an episode of ENTERPRISE. CRYSTAL will be signing autographs all day. RICHARD EDEN starred as Alex Murphy/Robocop in the 1994 ROBOCOP: THE SERIES, and he will be signing free autographs from 12:00 P.M.-2:00 P.M. to promote his new horror Film THE INTERVENTION.
