Dark Horse Reveals the Long Awaited Gate 7 From CLAMP!

APRIL 28, MILWAUKIE, OR–Dark Horse unveils the long awaited all-new original manga series created by Satsuki Igarashi, Mokona, Tsubaki Nekoi and Nanase Ohkawa.—the manga-ka female supergroup known to their millions of fans worldwide as CLAMP. These four brilliant writers and artists work together to produce award-winning, best-selling manga, including Chobits, xxxHOLiC, Card Captor Sakura, and Clover.

In Gate 7, an innocent sightseeing trip to Kyoto opens up a magical realm to shy high schooler Chikahito Takamoto! Visiting a legendary shrine, Chikahito finds himself in the mystical world of Hana and her comrades—and his immunity to their powers leads them to believe that he's no ordinary, awkward teenager! Protecting our world from violent elemental beasts, Hana and her team welcomes the confused Chikahito—who isn't quite sure that he wants to be caught in the middle of their war! One's thing's certain, though, since he's smitten with aloof, childlike warrior Hana, he's along for the ride, for better or worse!

For the past two years, Dark Horse has been collecting previously published works of this group of manga-ka royalty into highly sought after omnibus editions, including Clover, Chobits, Card Captor Sakura, and Magic Knight Rayearth, as well as Mokona's Okimono Kimono collection. Now, Dark Horse is proud to be the exclusive American publisher of CLAMP's latest work, just months after being released in Japan!

Dark Horse has made original comics for over twenty years; our editors have seen the hard work of individual Japanese creators in every manga we've ever brought over. Now we're going to work just as hard to meet the trust CLAMP has placed in
Dark Horse to publish their original work,” explains Mike Richardson, president and founder of Dark Horse.

Gate 7 arrives on American shelves on October 12, boasting 192 pages of brand new story for only $10.99!
